SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM


SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM – is a voluntary initiative of the International Union of non-profit organizations, their constructive response to social challenges.

PROGRAM aims at creating effective partnerships and lasting relationships between people, social groups and countries for sustainable, harmonious and civilized development of the international community in the third millennium.

  • promoting partnership between NGOs, authorities and business community to address problems of high social importance
  • Raising awareness of current social issues and problems of moral development and improvement of Society
  • Formation of a social and cultural projects adapted to the conditions of any given region within the country for the successful tripartite partnership of business, society and the government
  • Support and implementation of effective formats of social and cultural activities that reflect ecological, humanitarian, educational, charity and patronage trends
  • Organizing information and public support to participants of social importance and programs
  • Identify and encourage organizations and individuals on their activities promoting the development of domestic and international traditions of cultural cooperation, philanthropy, charity and social partnership
  • Assistance in exchange and implementation of best practices in social investment

THE PROGRAM is designed to originate and sustain any practice of public utility aimed at bringing positive changes to society that meet the needs of sustainable and harmonious development of Russian and world communities

THE PROGRAM recommends such models of social interaction that will help commercial organizations to pursue their business objectives while dealing with their associates; government bodies - to make better use of public potential, and non-profit sector to get ample room for socially useful activity

THE PROGRAM aims to assist all stakeholders in more precise and efficient structuring of their socially-oriented activities

THE PROGRAM enables business companies to relate their programs of social activities with All-Russian and international principles of corporate social responsibility and humanitarian practice

THE PROGRAM offers businesses and organizations a unique opportunity to take part in international events and to share their innovative experiences with regional and international public at large.

THE PROGRAM DEVELOPERS - NGOS:

THE TEAM OF AUTHORS OF THE PROGRAM consists of more than 100 people including 21 Vice Presidents of International Public Academies and 50 full members of International Public Academies, outstanding public and state leaders of Russia and other countries.

THE ACADEMICIANS – co-authors of the Program are mostly representatives of business community and successful leaders of socially responsible organizations. They are practitioners of the real sector of the domestic economy. Professional and social experience of the members of the group of authors, their achievements in development of their companies along with experience of social partnership and cooperation within the framework of large-scale international and nationwide projects - all of this has become the basis of the Program, models of practical implementation of its main directions and projects.

THE PROGRAM is also based on long-term experience of the International Union of Philanthropic Organizations “World of Kindness” and consolidated experience of the outstanding representatives of the regional political, scientific and business elites who have made a significant contribution to philanthropic and social partnership at regional and corporate levels.
